To help prepare you for your first orthodontic visit, keep reading below to find out what you can expect!

The first step in your orthodontic journey

Whether your appointment is at our Daphne, Bay Minette, or Atmore office, you’ll receive a warm welcome. We’ll introduce you to some members of our talented team and show you around the office so you’ll feel comfortable with our staff and environment before your first time in the orthodontist chair! We’ll then take a look at your medical and dental history before obtaining a few radiographs, photos, and impressions of your teeth for our own diagnostic records. Once this is complete, Dr. Glass will perform a thorough oral examination. to determine what your treatment options are and you will have time to discuss any questions or concerns.

We know that treatment is an investment of your time and finances, and we’re committed to making sure you understand each step of the orthodontic process as we go. We don’t want you to feel rushed or like your questions and concerns have gone unanswered! Once we’ve evaluated the diagnostic information, there will be a treatment consultation where we’ll discuss a number of topics, such as:

  • any orthodontic issues we find
  • what treatment options are available to correct the problem
  • if any permanent or baby teeth will need to be removed first
  • an estimate of how long we expect your treatment to take
  • the total cost of treatment
  • any payment or financing options we have available to you

We take pride in analyzing each patient’s specific needs, and will create a personalized treatment plan for you based on your unique smile, lifestyle, and goals. This approach allows us to consistently produce superior results our patients are proud of!
